Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you take insurance?
I am only in network with Highmark BSBC. Otherwise, if you are a Pennsylvania resident (where I am currently Licensed), you can contact your insurance company ask if they support out of network providers. In this case, I will happily provide you with receipts so you can get reimbursed. If you have any questions about insurance reimbursement and out of pocket cost, please contact me.
Is this online or in person?
Currently, all services are online using Zoom as a platform. You will receive more information once set up an intake.
Can we still work together if I live in another state?
Since I am online, yes there is way we can meet. Contact me for more info.
How often do we meet and what is your availability?
Our frequency of session is based on your needs and goals. There are some clients I meet with weekly, biweekly, monthly or some twice a week. I normally encourage once a week in the beginning of treatment and adjust from there. I tend to hold hours M-F between 9am-6pm. I will do my best to work with your schedule so feel free to reach out with further questions.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, I ask for 24 hour notice. You will be charged the amount of a session if it is later then that time frame.
What forms do I need to complete prior to my first session?
Once we set up an intake, I will email you a link to fill out the forms online. If you like, here is a sample of the consent form.
What if we are not a good fit?
Perfectly okay, I will do my best to assess if we are a great fit, since it takes a strong relationship for growth. Within my 10+ years of experience I made connection with wonderful clinicians with various of specializations. I'd be more than happy to make a referral and will stay in communication until you receive what you need. Please do not hesitate to mention this. This can happen and I will not take it personal. This is not just an ethical motive but a firm belief I have in this field to make sure you get the right treatment - whatever that looks like for you.
